EagleConnect SkyDrive Moved to Live

EagleConnect now uses SkyDrive Pro! SkyDrive moved to Live.Com.

Over the summer of 2013 the University of North Texas upgraded our EagleConnect Email system to the Office 365 platform. One side effect of this upgrade was that SkyDrive was moved off of EagleConnect and onto Microsoft’s Live.com platform.

On Nov. 19, 2013 SkyDrive Pro and Office Web Apps will be added to your account. These are new products. If you previously had a UNT SkyDrive your files will remain in that account and will not be transferred to the new SkyDrive Pro.
Difference between SkyDrive Pro and SkyDrive.

SkyDrive Pro is UNT’s cloud storage offering, based off of MS Sharepoint, and is available to all current UNT students through their EagleConnect (Microsoft Office 365) email accounts.

SkyDrive was previously available to all UNT student EagleConnect accounts, but is now part of Microsoft’s Live.com platform.
