The Mainframe Offers Apple© Discounts

July 20, 2016 – UNT faculty, staff and students receive educational discounts on the best Apple© products in The Mainframe, UNT’s Apple-authorized campus store.

Located on the second floor of the new University Union, The Mainframe will begin offering full repair service on Apple computers and devices before the start of the Fall 2016 semester.

The store currently carries all of the top-selling models of Macbook, iPad, iMac, and Beats headphones, as well as a huge selection of accessories, at great prices. For example, The Mainframe offers regular savings of up to $200 on a new Mac and educational pricing on iPad devices. The store also offers additional promotions and added incentives, such as the current promotion of a free pair of Beats headphones, up to $299 value, through Sept. 5, on eligible Mac and iPad purchases. Other incentives include the following.

  • A trade-in recycling program to offer even further discounts on purchases when trading in old devices.

  • A full repair service starting in the fall, where certified employees will be able to troubleshoot and repair your Apple devices. 

“This is an exciting opportunity for both UNT and the union. We’re able to offer students great deals and quality service on Apple products right here on campus,” says Steve Meehin, assistant director of marketing for the University Union. “As an entity of the University Union, The Mainframe also is able to support the Union’s mission of providing a great college experience by reinvesting revenue into programs and services for students.”

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to stop by the store and learn about Apple products, Meehin says.
