Some changes to the Drupal theme are required to make our websites more accessible. As you know, user accessibility to all UNT websites is important to UNT— as well as a state and federal requirement. Roughly 15 percent of the world’s population has some form of disability. That’s over 1 billion people. And that means it’s critical for brands to create experiences (websites) with accessibility in mind.
Due to accessibility failures, the following stylesheets referenced in the unt_foundation.scss file will be removed. So, let’s get all of our websites “up to code” with some new tooling for your Drupal site and put the Drupal Foundation Theme Accessibility class on your calendar today.
Instead of … we will use
Clearing Lightbox… use FancyBox.js
Orbit… use Slick
Reveal modal… to be deleted, must use FancyBox.js
