The conference will include a full day of break-out sessions that will provide you a learning opportunity to raise your awareness and familiarity of IT services.

Keynote speaker: Robert Rash, president and CEO, Olympia Consulting, LLC, and UNT alumnus.​

Session topics include the following.

  • Campus Solutions (classroom technology, online testing, mobile computing etc.)
  • Compliance and Security (regulatory standards, phishing, IT governance etc.)
  • Infrastructure (converged infrastructure and virtual labs)
  • IT Service Management (OneDrive for Business and navigating the ServiceNow portal)
  • Productivity Applications and Collaboration (Office 365 and automation)
  • Research (high-performance computing and data analytics)
  • Panel discussion covering research challenges in a complex technology environment

This conference also will highlight the strategic and operational systems of IT that help give UNT a competitive advantage. Faculty and staff presenters will discuss common issues such as challenges that IT projects face often causing them to fail, evolving academic needs vs. operational security, artificial intelligence, analytics and more.

Presenters from across campus will include staff from Administrative Information Technology Services, University Information Technology, IT Shared Services, Classroom Support Services, Information Systems and Decision Sciences faculty from the College of Business, and IT Management and Service Teams.
