Google Chrome drops NPAPI support for Java: As of Google Chrome 42, support for NPAPI plug-ins will no longer be enabled by default. Popular NPAPI plug-ins include Java and Silverlight, among others.
If you use Google Chrome, the Help Desk recommends that you follow Oracle's instruction to re-enable NPAPI support, until Oracle releases another option. This will ensure you can use all Java based features in Blackboard. Instructions may be found online.

Where are my classes? Classes are generally not available within Blackboard Learn until the first official day of class.
If you just registered or added a class after the semester started, it may take up to 24 hours for your course to appear.
If you previously registered, and your course is not listed, your professor may not have made the course available yet. You may contact your instructor to verify the status.
If you still have concerns regarding a missing course, contact the UIT Help Desk to verify your enrollment and course visibility.
Exam Crashes – If an exam crashes in Blackboard the first thing you should do is close down all browser windows. Reopen your browser and try to re-access your exam. If the exam is over, or you feel that you do not have time to complete the exam, please contact the UIT Help Desk. You also should contact your professor about the matter.
The Help Desk staff member will document the issue and give you a ticket number that you can provide to your instructor.
Important: The Help Desk is unable to guarantee that you will be able to retake a quiz or exam; only your professor can make these decisions.
Email – Blackboard Learn email will be sent to your official UNT email address.
Weekend System Maintenance – Blackboard Learn is unavailable every Saturday night from 11 p.m. until 2 a.m., CDT, Sunday morning for system maintenance.
Mobile App – UNT offers Blackboard Mobile Learn, which enables you to keep up with your classes through your iPhone, iPad, Android, or Blackberry device. Learn more online.
